I wanted to spend the day at the Everglades but my companions were not too thrill about the idea. They'll rather go to Miami. That was fine with me, I'll see the Everglades the next time I visit Florida. The reason why we were here in the first place was to sail on the maiden voyage of the Allure of the Seas, the newest and largest cruise ship of the Royal Caribbean Lines. We decided to fly a few days ahead of the sailing date to avoid the hassles of delayed flights, lost baggages and what nots.

This mansion on Ocean Beach was the residence of Gianni Versace, the famous Italian designer who was shot in the head by Andrew Cunanan, a Filipino-American from San Diego, CA. It was sold by the heir of Versace to a telecommunication magnate who renovated and turned it to a private membership club whose members pay $40,000 to join plus $3,000 annually. What? I wonder what a member gets for that kind of money.

Obviously a different state as compared to the rest of the states in the US.
Nice photos as always...
dodong flores, it is a beautiful state and the climate is just right, parang California.
Did you like Miami? Your photos are great and showed the kind of Miami we experienced. I must be honest though, Miami was a complete and utter disappointment. Our beaches in the Philippines are far better. All those high rises are spoiling whatever beauty Miami has left to offer. Yes, go to the Everglades!
Many thanks for your patience, and for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
Joy, I plan to go to the Everglades and Key West, the next time I'm in Florida.
The few beaches in Pinas I've seen so far are enough to convince me that ours are indeed, far better.
beautiful city... I wish Manila can be this clean. special mention Taft Avenue. lol
Jepoi, that's my wish, too. Thanks for dropping by.
