To everyone who still have their mothers on earth: Spend as much time as you can with your Inay, and even if she knows it, tell her at every opportunity that you love her. You only have one and she is irreplaceable.
My beloved Inay (left) and her elder sister when they were in their teens.

Ayos! You've been keeping this photo for years, haven't you?
One thing's unclear: Is your mom still on earth?
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, anyway.
I agree bert. It's just sad that some of us (including myself) would only realize their true value when we get married. I loved my mom a thousand times more when I gave birth to my daughter.
so great that you kept those photos. i just imagine if the teenagers are still wearing that.
happy mother's day to your mom.
Yes, I am! It is a treasure worth keeping. My Inay passed on in 1985 when she was about ready to leave and join me and my family in the States.
Happy Mother's Day to your wife...
janecajuguiran, yes indeed! We realized their true value when we start raising our own family or sadly, when they are no longer with us.
theDonG, I was lucky I was able to retrieve some old family photos - I scanned and stored them in my photo file. Teenagers now think "less is more appealing" LOL.
dodong flores, Happy Mother's day to yours, too.
wow, i like old photos! you should make a scrapbook too. hehehhe.
i love the dress. i haven't worn one. :) happy mother's day to your mom and to your wife. :)
Happy Mother's Day to your wife. Nice old photo :-) and you were able to keep them. I should be digging my mom's photos too.
Sardonyx/Missy
Reena, that's a good idea! I'll see if I have enough old photos to make an interesting scrapbook. Thank you for the suggestion.
Sardonyx, I was only able to gather a few. A lot of them were already lost or marred beyond repair. Also, during their time, photography was not as easily available and cheap as it is now.
Wow that's an antique photo! I wish your Inay and all the Mother's a belated Happy Mother's Day!
Thanks a mil!
How delightful! You have a photo this old. Love the baro't saya!
Thank you for your patience and for bearing with the technical problems on the website. Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow for more of the Keukenhof series!

I only have a couple, most of them where either lost or damaged beyond repair.
Hi!
Beautiful photo. Beautiful thoughts. Made me think of my own Nanay.
I've seen your comments on UP Diliman photos elsewhere. I grew up on that campus; my parents were chemistry teachers.
Thanks.
